I like the story of how someone once asked the brilliant theologian Karl Barth if he could give a brief summary of all he had learned in his years of studying divinity. Barth replied, "Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so."

That's not a bad summary, but beyond that, we affirm the Apostle's Creed--which serves as a common statement for most Christians.

However, this statement doesn't tell you whether we really love Jesus, or whether we make a better world with our lives. No one becomes a follower of Jesus merely by adhering to a creed; just as no one falls into passionate love by studying wedding vows.

Hopefully, you'll get to know us and experience in our community the reality of Christ's Spirit in our midst.
